Returns
Policy.

Every fabric on Mushion is sampled and verified before it reaches you. If something isn't right, we'll fix it.

Eligibility Window

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of confirmed delivery. After this window, orders are considered accepted and are no longer eligible for return or exchange.

To initiate a return, contact us at talktous@mushionafrica.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue.

Accepted Reasons for Return

We accept returns where the fabric delivered does not match what was ordered: wrong material, wrong colour, or a significant discrepancy in weight or weave relative to the catalogue description.

Returns are also accepted for fabric that arrives damaged: tears, staining, or defects present at the time of delivery. Please photograph the issue clearly before repackaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Fabric that has been cut, washed, ironed, or altered in any way cannot be returned. Custom orders and Mushion Originals produced to specification are also non-returnable unless faulty.

Change of mind or preference is not accepted as grounds for return. We encourage all customers to order a fabric sample before placing large orders — samples are available at ₦5,000 and are the best way to ensure the fabric is right for your project before committing.

Return Process

Once your return request is approved, we will coordinate the return logistics with you based on your location. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer in all cases except where the return is due to an error on our part, in which case Mushion covers the full return shipping cost.

Fabric must be returned in its original packaging, uncut and in the same condition as received. Upon receipt and inspection at our Operations Centre, we will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days.

Refunds & Exchanges

Approved returns are resolved by full refund to your original payment method, processed within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. If you would prefer store credit instead, we are happy to arrange that — just let us know at the time of your return request. Replacement is also available subject to stock availability.

Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Disputes

If you disagree with the outcome of a return assessment, you may escalate to our team lead within 7 days of our decision. We will review all evidence submitted and respond with a final determination within 5 business days.
